Lions West Health & Wellness 2022

Lions Club of Mysore West (LCMW) is conducting the Flagship annual fund raiser programme “Lions West Wellness and Health” to raise funds for our major service projects including the Kidney Endowment Fund (KEF). KEF supports poor & needy renal failure patients by providing with access to subsidized dialysis in partnership with leading hospitals in Mysuru. We support more than two thousand dialysis sessions every year with support from our donors. We also serve the society through various other high impact service projects.

Take part in Yoga sessions, Walk/Run, Cycling, Health camp, Cultural evening and many more activities as part of the Wellness event. Entry to events is through donor pass.

Lions Club Mysore West Service Activities details:

1. Women Empowerment: Aug 16, 2022. Total Funds donated, Rs, 1,80,000 ($2,260)

LCMW donated 18 sewing machines to the women who are the bread earners for their family through a generous donation of one of our Member Dr. Moti.

2. Girl Child Education: July 30, 2022, total Funds donated Rs 90,000 ($1132)

The Meritorious Girl and Boy Children from the Government School were invited for
receiving the Scholarship for helping with their PUC education (10+2), each child was given
a Rs 5000/ scholarship, for a total of 18 students.

Utsav 2022

This is a fund raiser with Ladies from various organization presenting the classical Indian dresses
in a theme based presentation. There were 10 teams and about 800 viewers who paid from Rs

LIONS QUEST-2021

INTER HIGH SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION

We are pleased to inform you that we are conducting an ‘Inter School Quiz Competition’ for high school students of Mysuru for the Eighth successive year on 20.11.2021, Saturday in the school premises. The main aim of this programme is to encourage students to look beyond textual knowledge and to kindle healthy competition spirit.

Register

Use the registration link to register by giving your details, an event you want to participate. Pay the registration fee via website and register.

Tracking

Track your run/walk using Strava or Pacer or any other fitness app of your choice which can capture the distance run/walked, pace, moving time.
